We started Common Joy Co because we were tired of settling.

Tired of scrolling past the same generic “Islamic apparel” that looked like it was designed by someone who read one Wikipedia article about Ramadan. Tired of mainstream streetwear that had zero connection to our faith. Tired of choosing between looking Muslim and looking good.

So we stopped choosing.

8 Rakaat Crew is our first collection — and yeah, we’re jumping into the debate. Every Muslim knows the question: is it 8 or 20? We picked our side. No disrespect to the 20 crew, but this brand is for the 8s. If that makes you smile, you’re already one of us. You switch between salaam and slang in the same sentence. You pray, you hustle, you care about how you show up in the world.

Every piece is built on premium Cotton Heritage heavyweight fleece — not the thin, scratchy stuff that falls apart after three washes. We chose the M2580 because when you pick up the hoodie, you should feel the difference before you even put it on.

The designs are subtle on purpose. The gold 8 is a signal, not a billboard. If someone gets it, they’re your people. If they don’t, it’s still a clean piece.
